One of the most common files for a user to download from FM Gaffer is a Tactic file. Obviously you're looking for a good tactic to succeed in Football Manager. So where do you install the files? Its actually very easy, use the locations below as your guide and simply place the file in the folder as listed below, if the Tactics folder does not exist then simply create it.
Windows Vista/7: C:/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2012/tactics
Windows XP: C:/Documents and Settings/YOUR_USERNAME/My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2012/tactics
Mac OS X:
/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2012/tactics
