Is player confidence important when taking tactics into account?

Player confidence and form are two important variables when deciding on team selection and tactics. If all you players have bad confidence then you will have problems getting results, but on the other hand not playing them doesnt regain their confidence does it?

Simple answer is do what all great managers do, bring their confidence up with maybe bringing them on as a sub, if the result ends up a good one their confidence will go up. Make it so their part of a winning team, cant get much better than that. You never know they might score and their confidence sky rocket back up.
